Our Founder & Managing Director Mr. Uma Shankar Agarwal started his journey from Ferreous Forging, his family business, in 1976. The company had built a reputation in quality Hot-Forged Bolts in the size-range up to M36 along with 25mm dia Fish-bolts for the Indian and Iraqi Railways. The company was one of the first to manufacture Metric-Dimensional Bolts in the country.

He founded the Group in the year 1986 with a company named Bharat Industries (Galv.), a galvanizing unit with the then latest technology of Centrifugal Galvanizing got quality fasteners. In the year 1997, Bharat Galvanizing became a private limited company with the name Star Galvanizers Ltd. In 1996, he founded Sterling Bolts Pvt. Ltd. a manufacturing unit for Bolts, Nuts and Fabricated items.

In 2013, Star Galvanizers Pvt. Ltd. was merged with Sterling Bolts Pvt. Ltd. bringing all operations under one roof.
